Values: The Key to High-Trust Business Cultures

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a business coach is helping people discover what they really value.

I get knocked out sometimes by the insights that people gain by reflecting on their business and how their value-based behavior is so essential to building a wonderful, high performing business.

When we call forth our performance on the basis of our values, we are appealing to our 'higher selves.'

When we are able to do this, our workplaces become places where people build high trust. They deliver innovation as the norm, because they too get in touch with their 'higher selves.'

Our relationships with each other become open and enjoyable. The ideas flow quickly, and everyone seems to deliver super outcomes.

Work becomes fun and meaningful. We gain a sense of our own significance, and there is an accompanying feeling of freedom.

And, we get great results.

How about getting in touch with your values today and seeing how that helps you build a business that flourishes?

A book that I highly recommend is How: Why how we do anything means everything… in business (and in life) by Dov Siedman.
