20/20 Vision is Foresight in Business
“New worlds create new people” - David Weinberger.
I started imagining a new way of doing business with employees joined in a “hyperlinked” sort of way after reading a chapter of Weinberger’s book about the web this morning.
A group of us at the annual business planning retreat started thinking about it, brainstormed for about ten minutes and came up with a totally new vision for two of my teams. The Team Leaders were really excited by the prospect of partnerships and connections, shared functions, building on their strengths, working closer together and delivering better services to customers and clients with greater speed and agility. Just another step along the road to high performance.
